Photograph Portfolio | Goose Island
This was a project assigned in my Documentary Photo class. We were assigned a place in or around La Crosse that we would have to go visit and document with photography. I was assigned Goose Island. Initially, I though that this would be a difficult place to photograph because there are very few people and interesting things in the winter. It is just a bunch of trees and nature covered in snow. But, in the snow I found many unique and beautiful photos, and if you look closely you can find a human presence in many of the photos. I went back three or four times during the project and plan to continue this in the years to come by making occassional visits back to photograph.
