Waste Water Treatment Plant

I began my project at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in La Crosse.  This provided me with a new view on what happens with everything we flush down the toilet or wash down the sink.  The stuff doesn't just disappear, it ends up at this plant where all of the solid waste is removed and the water is then pumped into the river.  The most surprising thing is that they only use 2 chemicals in this process.  A majority of it is now biological.
